The Management of Mundo Pastel, S.L. wishes to make clear, through this Quality and Food Safety Policy, its commitment to contribute to improving the satisfaction of our customers, ensuring the quality of their products and the food safety requirements in our production and distribution activities of the different products we manufacture, all within the framework of our quality and food safety management system, developed according to the requirements established by IFS Food v8.
The Management of Mundo Pastel, S.L., aware of the importance of delivering trustworthy products, promotes the culture of food safety, helping the organization and its employees to prevent and detect deviations in any process that affects the safety, quality and legality of its products, as well as the protection of the environment.
The Management has defined this Quality and Food Safety Policy applicable to all our activity, which includes the following general objectives:
✔ Guarantee the correct definition and compliance with the requirements requested by the client, in addition to making products that satisfy the needs and expectations of the client.
✔ Provide the necessary resources to comply with the requirements derived from the regulations and standards applicable to both our activity and the products we sell.
✔ Maintain punctual delivery, product quality and formality in service.
✔ Promote sustainability with the use of products, cleaning and disinfection practices in our facilities and management of waste derived from our activity that are respectful of the environment and whose impact on the personnel who apply them is minimal.
✔ Assume responsibilities towards our clients that may arise from our activities and our products in all aspects related to food safety, both of our products and our facilities.
✔ Assume responsibilities towards our clients applied ethical responsibilities, both in our commercial relations with clients and suppliers and in the hiring of our staff.
✔ Provide and propose suitable information to our employees so that they can assume their responsibilities in terms of quality and develop good safety and hygiene practices, promote the understanding and dissemination of our Quality and Food Safety Policy, through training and ongoing communication with staff and make it public to other interested parties.
✔ Promote a culture of food safety, where workers are key to ensuring that products comply with all quality and food safety guarantees.
✔ Consider quality and food safety as a task for all employees and the key factor for competitiveness. Mundo Pastel, S.L is also aware of the need to work to control the risks of authenticity/fraud in raw materials, as well as the risks that may come from intentional contamination.
✔ Continuously improve the effectiveness of the quality and food safety management system through periodic evaluation of results and verifications. The Management of Mundo Pastel, S.L. undertakes to ensure that this policy is disseminated and adopted by all company personnel, periodically reviewing its content and adapting it to our activities and the company’s general strategy.
✔ Reduce the environmental impact of our activity, promoting environmental sustainability, through the efficient management of resources and raw materials, the correct management of waste generated and compliance with applicable environmental regulations.
